03/04/12–Lacking a partner for this rotation, Ann Johnson, of Kerhonkson, center, doesn’t let it stop her from practicing a step for a future partner that she might be imagining while her eyes are closed. The first of four “Learn to Dance in a Day” Ballroom Dance workshops was held at the New Paltz Town Hall on Sunday afternoon, March 4, 2012. Eighteen people from the area participated in learning how to Waltz. The next classes include the Foxtrot, Swing, and Cha Cha. The classes are held every two weeks and instructed by Linda and Chester Freeman of Marlboro.
