One would never know that just around the corner was Trevi Fountain. Trevi Fountain served as a rest stop and a place to look over maps to the next destination. Record amounts of rain fall on Rome. The largest amount of rain in ten years fell on Rome during our visit closing many sites for days due to flooding. The spiral staircase leading out of the Vatican Museum.
